2020-2022年のコロナ禍において制作された10年ぶりのアルバム。
YAMAHA QY100で作ったシーケンスをメインにプラグインなどは使わず、アナログ機材のみで制作。
マスタリングは盟友YOSHIDA SOUND LAB.にて行い、カセットの雰囲気に合うようにミックスしました。
猫町として10年ぶりのアルバムが中国は上海の"Eating Music"から出ます。
コロナ禍で制作した全11曲が入ってます。

Nekomachi / 猫町

lo-fi,ambient,new age,drone,left field,などのエクスペリメンタル音楽作家。
名古屋を拠点に活動していた2012年に"Powel Shovel Audio"より「unrest」をリリース。
東京に拠点を移し2022年10月にコロナ禍によって制作された約10年ぶりの音源が上海の"eating music"より、
「Cat & Town」をカセットとデジタルでリリース。

Created during the 2020-2022 epidemic, "Cat & Town" is Nekomachi's second official album.

The sounds in album are mainly created with YAMAHA QY100. It has not been processed by DAW or plug-ins, only used analog equipments. The album was mastered by YOSHIDA SOUND LAB. and a double-sided mix was created to match the ambience and sound of cassette.

Nekomachi is an experimental musician from Japan, mainly creating styles such as Lo-Fi, Ambient, New Age, Drone, Leftfield, etc. In 2012, while working in Nagoya, he released a collection of live performance recordings "unrest" through "Powel Shovel Audio".

Due to the impact of the epidemic, he moved to Tokyo in recent years, and produced his full-length album "Cat & Town" after ten years, which will be released in tape and digital formats by Shanghai independent label "Eating Music" in September 2022.
